👋 About LexiTime

Hi there! I’m Tim, and I created LexiTime with my 10-year-old son after we spent a few fun weeks over the holidays getting hooked on Wordle. One day, he turned to me and said, "Dad, can’t you make one of these games too?" - and so, the challenge was on!

I’ve done some web design work before, and with his help (and plenty of testing), LexiTime was born. It’s a family-made word game designed to be fun, challenging, and suitable for all ages. We hope it gives you the same joy playing as we had building it.

All the words used in LexiTime have been manually reviewed to avoid anything potentially offensive. If you ever spot something questionable, feel free to let us know - we want the game to be safe and enjoyable for everyone.

📱 Works on Any Device

LexiTime is fully responsive and works great on desktops, tablets, and smartphones. That said, if you're playing on a phone, it's best enjoyed in portrait mode - landscape can get a bit cluttered!

🙋 Fun Q&A

Q: Who came up with the name LexiTime?
A: My son! He said it should sound like “playtime” but with words - LexiTime just felt right.

Q: Did your son help with the coding?
A: Not the actual code (yet!) but he helped test every level, picked example words, and gave loads of feedback.

Q: Why only one puzzle per day?
A: To keep it fresh and encourage daily play - plus, we like the idea of everyone trying the same challenge together!
